Tramping 10:00:00 [3]

Tramp from Lyell hut down to the Rakaia with two boat river crossings. Initial attempt to raft from near Lauper Biv. River too high and wave trains too big for the doubles. Walked for 5km more. Second attempt at rafting great. Super fast and fun. Continuous wave train for maybe 15km then still fast and good. Take out just after Glen rock.
