| O-Festivalen Relay
Ran third leg for Göteborg, Shep and Anders did well and i went out in 9th place. Unfortunately i was just a little too far off any pack, so had to run the entire thing by myself. Started to navigate a bit better than the previous two days, but never really got breathing that hard (maybe a bit of a defense mechanism from my body trying not to aggrevate the broken ribs?) Reasonably happy with the run with only a couple of 1min mistakes and a few hesitations........but ross beat me by one minute...grrr

| World Cup - Long (and i mean longggggg)
Started off okay, started running with Lino early on, had different splits for the butterfly, but ended up at the pivot in exactly the same time! We started making a few mistakes, and the pace was too slow, so i broke away, and wat da ya know, i make an elementary mistake, loose lots of time, grrrr. Went kinda crap through a few more controls, ran through the spectator, and continued for a couple more controls, but was making real dumb mistakes, and the brain was fried! Such a physical course i was broken! So pulled the pin, cos i wasnt competing, i was just completing it :(

| World Cup - Middle distance
Started off alright through the first couple, then did a major drift/parallel error on route to #3. recovered and had a few good controls, then blew up #10 big time. Had a few other mistakes later on. A pretty poos run, adn dissapointing result. But i guess the jet lag and broken ribs weren't exactly condusive to good performance!

| Note | ||
| (injured) | ||
| Went to physio this morning to try and ease some of the pressure and pain in the lower legs, got a sweet massage :) While i was lying on my belly and moaning about the pain in my ribs, 40mins later im getting the results from an x-ray and turns out i managed to break 2 of my ribs! Guess i smacked into that post a little too hard yesterday! But doc reckons i should still be able to run, its just gonna hurt pretty bad for the next week or so......im gonna take double dose of my harden up pills :) | ||
| Running 28:28 [3] | ||
| (injured) | ||
| Tried an easy run to help the legs get better and to test the ribs. Took a couple of nuerophen, not too bad at easy pace, but painful when i have to breathe deep. | ||
