Upper body quite tired from strength session yesterday. Felt alright though and knee tendon was better and i could do breaststroke kick again :)

Out along the waterfront, awesome sunny day, but man it was windy! Hard work on the way out, but huge tail wind on the way back, i went real fast, it was so much fun! Then went down to panmure and around mt wellington and the new subdivision to have a look.

Saw sports doc again today, not the news i wanted to hear. Feeling pretty stink and just not into it aye.

Knee real bad today, hurts to walk, cant bend it or do any of my leg exercises, feels like im back to square one! So just did upper body stuff........grrrr

Morning swim cos the pool entry is way cheaper in Whakatane :) Had 4 lanes to myself, crazy stuff before work!! Good session, did a bit of strength work with paddles and fins.

Mt Maunganui - Couple of times around the mount and along the beach to make up 40mins. Found it really hard to just go at an easy pace, cos the body was loving running again! Real sweet run.

Turns out 40min was probably too much for the knee. Really sore afterwards, hard to bend and move it :(

Whakatane - Feeling pretty excited after watching all the acion from the water cube! Really starting to notice the improvments :) Steady pace and included 6 x 50m @ 40secs.

Taupo - Huka Falls Walkway
Knee was a little tendor for the first few minutes, then it got better. Lovely afternoon along the river :) Knee was a bit sore after i finished :(

Went to go swimming after my run, but turns out the only pool in Taupo is closed beacuse the heat pump is broken! So water temp was only 15degrees (pool temp is normally 26-28degrees), didnt bring my wetsuit, and didnt fancy getting hypothermia, so had to pass. Gutted!
