Trail Run - Mt Misery
Quite an enjoyable run. Advertised as having around 850m climb but I suspect its actually a little less. Took it pretty easy through the first 6km which was basically all descent and didn't want to ruin my legs. Kept good tempo through the climbs on the way back up.

Orienteering race 38:00 [4] 7.71 km (4:56 / km)
shoes: Oroc's

The Tadpole (EP)
A very different map to yesterday with the fairly bland contours and the prickly acacia being the main navigational feature for the first half before two short controls in sand dunes and then back into the vegetation. Started at the back of the train (Ben, Toby, Ethan, Dante, Bridget) and was pushing hard early. Never saw Bridget but was through the others a bit before halfway. Was hoping to have Dante with me but I passed him as he made an error so was then on my own. Lost intensity a bit due to an incorrectly placed #14 so a bit lackluster after that.

Very scratchy, although I didn't seem to have as bad a time of it as some others.

Also not sure what was going on with the scale/distance, the course was advertised as 5.6 but I don't see how I did an extra 2km even with a bit of a search at #14.
