orienteering race 1:16:00 [5]

1st loop was baaddd. lost atleast 4mins from silly mistakes.
only really got into it about half way through the second loop when i started feeling good physically and stopped making stupid mistakes.
also didnt really see anyone out there, apart from Al afew times.

twas fun, but i probably could have been about 7mins faster...which is alot...so im abit dissapointed.

felt terrible physically, could hardly get my legs moving. looking back i think it was cuz of too much nervous energy :S
navigation was good apart from one VERY bad control where i lost atleast a minute...not happy...

cant even remember exact time
once again felt horrible physically (probably from nerves/stress/hot weather) and so navigation was ok i just couldnt get moving at all :(

felt sweet during the hard bits. ran over all the new northshores :D

some stromlo riders are such bums.
whenever im running on the single tracks and i see a rider coming i stop and get off the track (and into the scratchy bushes) so they can pass. and today a group of about 10 riders passed me then went crazy and said "this is a riding track, not a running track!"
grrr i wasnt even in their way!! so i just gave them a nice smile back...haha.

running hills 1:00:08 [5]

hills in the morning. did 6 x 3mins at about 80% with jog back down recovery.
felt really stiff and slow for the first five so did the last one on a much flatter hill so i would feel faster..
sunrise was beautiful :)
