running warm up/down 20:00 [3]

orienteering race 43:40 [5]

What a shitter. Blew away at least 5mins, mostly all on one control. :( pretty annoyed but I guess I shouldn't be too upset since my other three races weren't terrible.

running warm up/down 15:00 [3]

Minimal warm up and down

orienteering race 1:18:30 [5]

Aus long. Bad start - dropped 2min at number 1! I think I started talking myself out of it yesterday - I really need to keep working on feeling confident and using positive self talk before races. Anyway, recovered ok after no1 and the next half of the race was only ok - a few more 1min errors and one mid-leg wander. Then ~2/3 of the way through Tash and Jo caught me and we were together until the end. Legs weren't feeling great today (too nervous beforehand I think) so I kept thinking I'd let Tash/Jo go but then I'd catch them again/manage to hang on. Happy with the result but oh my god I don't think I can find 9mins on Jo!!

Friday Sep 30 #

running 33:00 [3]

Easy run in bullecourt with moth and Gfry and gin. What a cute family run! If only miff were here too. We did some surges. I felt pretty good

Thursday Sep 29 #

(rest day)

Rest day. Also had a rest from uni work today because I suddenly lost all motivation to do any haha. Gotta save some brain power for the weekend ;)

Wednesday Sep 28 #

orienteering 40:00 [4]

Short warm up and down, then gin and moth and I had a handicapped race! It was fun. Navigated ok, but missed a few. I won our race ;)

Tuesday Sep 27 #

orienteering 36:00 [3]

Oing in an undisclosed area ;) ;)

Edit: to avoid sounding super dodgy, we didn't run at Amiens or cascades! "Undisclosed" was a joke.

Monday Sep 26 #

running 37:00 [3]

Recovery yog with gin and muck in bullecourt. It was fun! We went on an adventure.
