running long 1:30:31 [3]
(sick)

Another long run! That'll probably do me for long runs for the year now haha. Felt alright, it was an amazing run, super sweet views and then for the second half I took either terrain routes or mtb tracks :)

Cold is about the same as yesterday

running 20:00 [3]
(sick)

Warm up for intervals, which I bailed on because my sore throat has become much worse overnight, and I felt quite lightheaded. Goddamit. Sometimes my "colds" don't last very long though so I'll try again this arvo or tomorrow...

(sick)

Feeling a little chirpier this arvo and also I feel bad not training while I'm here. So went out and did 40/20s in a new part of falls I haven't seen yet. Super nice, felt pretty good in the legs but my neck/glands are feeling swollen now...

running hills 1:19:19 [5]

Hills (including super slow jog up the hill before the proper warm up). Felt pretty average warming up but then somehow found some half strength and completed the session ok. Lots of gun runners about, soo many fit people haha

running 1:35:13 [3]

Long run ....this is the first "long run" I've done in like a year, how bad is that haha. Felt quite average for the first half, then better for the second half. Kept my HR low though which was good. Really nice scenery again, it'd be so pretty in winter too!

Tuesday Jan 3, 2017 #

running 27:33 [3]

Easy morning run. Again, I normally do these at a super shuffle so this was a bit longer/slightly faster than I'm used to!

R knee still sore....it's not got that much worse over the last week though so I'll keep monitoring. Might need to make sure I don't go overboard on this camp though...
4 PM

running intervals 1:16:24 [5]

6x1k w 60 sec jog rest along the aqueduct. I felt really slow (averaging 4:00), not sure if it was just the "altitude" or if I'm actually just slow but bleughhh. Really nice location for reps though, it's ridiculously nice up here

Knee ok!! Tight left shin also ok
