orienteering intervals 1:20:00 [5]

Longer o ints at mt beckworth, time including warm up and down. It was really steep and really grassy, and because I'm a genius I decided to wear my non-spike O shoes.....so I spent the whole time slipping down the slope on all the dried grass! On the flatter bits I was able to concentrate more on the nav though, and it went pretty well. Good physical workout!

Easy in ballarat with moth and miff. I love doing easy runs in ballarat - there's no one else around to judge my snail pace haha (apart from moth)

running intervals 1:14:13 [5]

40/20s up the river. Felt quite tired when I started, muscles were kind of sore and complaining. So I did the first couple of sets "steady" rather than super hard, and then lifted from there. It was raining, which was so so nice!!

running warm up/down 25:00 [3]

orienteering race 59:00 [5]

NOL long at Pittwater - mass start. Did the first two loops quite slowly and felt like I was off the back a bit. Then got some momentum on the final long loop and ended up running with Jo for most of it, and managed to edge ahead of her in the last section to finish 3rd behind Charlotte and Susen. Felt quite good physically (though it wasn't quite full "long" distance) and technically was ok on most but went to the wrong first control on both of the first two loops.
