orienteering race 51:39 [5]

Bendigo night O. This was soooo fun, and really good training for racing/pushing hard. Was with the boys for most of it - until the long track leg towards the end when I started to get dropped :( Caught up a little on the last few controls and finished just behind them all.....so that's ok I guess. Maaaaybe I'm not as unfit as I was starting to think!

Also I did actually mispunch (ha...ha...) - punched one on a depression a bit lower than my actual control. After I left it I did think it felt wrong but I didn't want to get dropped by the pack so continued on....kinda stupid logic but I figured it would be better training to run with the boys and push myself rather than dawdle alone in the dark.

Same session as last week: 4x30sec(1min) 3x3min(2min) 4x4min(1min). Felt reasonable, didn't get quite as far as last time though which is rather annoying. Totally smashed after, this session is really hard (or I think it is anyway)
