running intervals 1:23:00 [5]

500s on the road/tracks in the forest. A bit tired, so the session wasn't spectacular, but I guess it all counts. Wore a thermal, short-sleeve shirt, long-sleeve shirt, gloves, and a beanie and didn't get too hot :/ :/

Ez in the rat. Felt good

running intervals 1:22:00 [5]

Sprint training at Vic park. Trying to practice hammering an easy sprint course. Didn't feel great actually - might have been a bit too stiff and frozen when I started. Also did not navigate terribly well despite the course being easy. Good start!

running 30:00 [3]

Felt a bit dead. Super hungry this morning
6 PM

running intervals 55:59 [5]

Short session up the river. Felt ok....lacking a higher gear or feeling a bit like I can't push myself hard enough for some reason.
Bit nervous about running by myself in the dark after recent events in melb! :( :(

Strength and Conditioning 35:00 [3]

Just weights, will do plyometrics tomorrow. Pretty tough straight after ints

Down the river. Felt good. It pissed on me though so got quite cold

Yog. It was dark
6 PM

running intervals 1:11:30 [5]

Ints up the river with minimal warm up and down so that my brain wasn't too tired at the thought of doing the whole session (sounds weird but makes sense to me!)

Also I'm well aware that I'm meant to be running WOC and have done 0 orienteering training.....................don't worry relay teammates, I'll start doing some this weekend ;)
