SHIs individual
Bit of a stinker to be honest. Knew I wasn't 100% physically going into it but made it much harder for myself with some BAD orienteering. Binned 6 minutes at 1, no plan, no pace control, no nothing. Eventually bumbled into the control and jumped on the Nixon train until I could get my head in gear. Fumbled round until splitting at 10. I chose a poor route but executed it poorly too. Gave myself a kick u the arse here and focused better trying to reel Nixon back in. Luckily I was cleanish through the next ones and caught him at 13 as he'd missed 12.
Together for the rest but orienteering hardly improved, a huge amount to work on. Flagging physically towards the end. Apparently I can't just turn up after 14 months away and be solid!? Newsflash.
Things can only get better! 7th was ok for the team though
