spiked:14/24c shoes: Olway Tigers w/ dobs

Scottish 6-days, Day 1. Alvie. First 6 controls basically had all the climb so after feeling god awful round those, started to run faster. Navigation generally crap, with some big errors. Physically felt fine, but never truely pushing it.

Drove up to Skipton for the evening and crashed at Mercer's. Nice pad. Went for an 'easy' one up his local fell with Joe, Tedwards n Rob Little. Sweat was pouring off me like a paedo in a nursery, hydrated like a stone this evening. Then hit Spoons for a beer ot 8 before the long drive up. Mmm breakfast

Rest day seeing as I'm off to Scotland tomorrow. Running 21E cause my ego is too large for me to run S. Should do alright but will probably get drunk and do something stupid.

Had a steady jaunt through some man eating heather. Parked at Redmires, then to Pole, High Neb then a loop north coming back thru some private forest to Redmires. Nowt like a bit of sunny running in the moor, off-path rounded up by some blatant trespassing. That bit of private forest is so damn sexy!

Big toe bruised and knee swollen and had the sniffles. So went to the pub at 7 instead of up the ski slope.
