Orienteering 2:01:20 [3] 11.61 mi (10:27 / mi) +559m 9:05 / mi

Flag chasing! Did the Tim Watkins Blodslitet thing. Disappointing turnout - Jack Wood, Lewis, The Ewok....no one else I recognised. 10 runners. Pretty pathetic.

First 2 gaffledm Jack vanished into the mist never to be seen again. Got stuck in the woods on way to 3 and caught by the others. 3 was in wrong place, then long leg to 5, where I ran off and never saw anyone again.

O'ed reasonably well from here but was cautious and took safe routes. Until totally fucked one control and binned 10 minutes. Assumed I was well abck from here so just made sure I got the rest cleanly. Turned out everyone else was equally rubbish and I was first back. Such is the state of British Orienteering.

When I was good I was good, when I was bad, I was horrible. Like the area, blackthorn and Limestone Pavement. Garnered some sick enjoyment out of it. Still running fine at the end.

Lots to improve.
