Monday May 28

Event: York Park Race

Orienteering race (Street-O) 36:06 [5]**** 6.9 km (5:14 / km)
spiked:12/14c (injured) shoes: Trusty Trainers
*4.9 Km - Course B (Womens Open) in York City Race
*actually ran 6.9km
Very very tight hamstring. Stopped at number 12 for 30secs or so to try and stretch it - failed! Navigation was ok, one wrong route choice and another blocked passage by pedestrians. Just gutted I couldn't run faster. Hamstring didn't warm up really until I got back and was playing on the bikes in the Magna Centre in Rotheram! Couple of 20m sprints with dad and some odd shaped bikes for 2mins and it feels fine.
