Sunday Nov 4

Orienteering race 1:29:54 [5]* 12.5 km (7:12 / km) +170m 6:44 / km
spiked:12/20c (injured) shoes: Swoops
Delamere regional. Did W21L as that's what I'd entered for in Feb. Was cold but feeling good when started. First few were ok, then realised that the forest was a lot more crap than I remember and it was getting tedious by 7. Fell in a big marsh at 8 which crippled my hip quite a bit. Carried on running for a few more, then on way to 12 I decided downhill was fun and that seemed to break me more. Walked/Jogged/Small bursts of run for the rest of the course. Didn't help that by 9 I was so bored out of my skull that my navigation went out of the window too.

For some reason I also had a "please impale me" sign on as well. Severe damage to my right quad. Ultra sexy bruises on both legs. Joy.

All in all not such a good day out. Ibuprofened it up when I got back to the house and hip/quads seem to be ok so far today so will try circuits later.

spiked:45/47c shoes: Swoops
Putting out controls for NWJS day with dad. Just wandering round and jogging around a bit to check positions. (Little Budworth so it was hunt the pit). Was a nice day and dad passed his L3 assessment so it was worth the getting up at 6am.
Orienteering 30:00 [3]*** 4 km (7:30 / km)
spiked:26/27c shoes: Swoops
{NWJS} Putting out the tags for the "Bing-o" in the afternoon while dad had them off mapping. Just a quick run round 25 of them tying tape with numbers on. Pretty stop/start. Then went to check 2 of them where the tape was on differently.

Yoga class at the gym. Was quite an easy one which was nice as I am V stiff from cycling yesterday and getting cold afterwards.

Long ride with Luce out to Ladybower from my house. Headed over to Bamford thinking it would be dark and we'd need to get at train but it was still early to carried on to Grindleford. Got a train back and then the moody tram man didn't want bikes on the tram so cycled back up home with Luce's lights on and numb toes/fingers.

Had to clean wall cos of the mould growing on it again. Inhaled a lot of it apparently. Not doing my chest any good. Better be ok for my ride out to Ladybower with Lucy tomorrow *HMMF*

Circuits - moved up to 45/15s today. Feeling utterly dead still so it took quite a lot of effort. Still... managed my 15 press ups, just need to work on my tri-dips cos i'm PANTS at them.
