Sunday Jan 27

Running warm up/down 10:00 [2]
shoes: Swoops
Warming up around the field testing out the ankle. Bit sore.
Orienteering race 59:44 [4]**** 6.5 km (9:11 / km) +250m 7:42 / km
22c slept:6.0 (injured) shoes: Swoops
Tankersley Woods. Never got head into mode. Spent most of the course worrying about how my ankle and back were doing so was very sloppy, only spiked a few. North lines really really couldn't get into my head - no idea why, I never use the edges of the map, I seem to have invisible north lines ingrained in my brain.

Good news though - my ankle was fine once warmed up, though it's still sore when I poke it now. But then I went over on my left, so will have to see what it's like in the morning.
Core (physio) 30:00 [1]
Morning and evening exercises with added stretching from running and ankle and stuff. Back is being a bit weird.

Saturday Jan 26

Core (physio) 10:00 [1]
Exercises - was going to go to LBT at the gym with Hannah, but I got distracted with Katie's Strictly Come DVD so I did that instead...
Core (Pilates/Yoga) intervals (Strictly Come DVD) 50:00 [4]
About 45mins of actual workout. Really not enough room to do it properly, but my ankle wasn't too bad - though I wasn't wearing shoes.
Core (Pilates/Yoga) warm up/down (Strictly Come DVD) 45:00 [2]
The warm up and down - and then the actual teaching of the steps before the full routines.

Friday Jan 25

Core (physio) 20:00 [1]
Morning and afternoon exercises, need to do some CV exercise!!! feeeel like a fatty... that may be the shortbread...
Core (physio) 15:00 [1]
(injured)
Started to do the some dancersize, but the realisation came to me that it was 2am and that sleeping would be a good idea, so just did my physio then went to bed. Spose that's not really Friday, but it felt like it.

Thursday Jan 24

Core (physio) 15:00 [1]
(injured)
Was really up for intervals when I woke up this morning. Did physio and then put on my shoe and suddenly it was like I'd been stabbed in my ankle. Severely not cool. It's been sore most of the day when confined in shoes but fine when in my slippers (mostly), no swelling so I have no idea what I've done?! I didn't bash it or fall over it yesterday as far as I'm aware :( Will try a jog around tomorrow, maybe some hill reps as I missed intervals tonight waiting at the stupid doctor. Oh yeah, who then went on a big rant about my back and apparently I shouldn't be running at all until it stops hurting. Fat chance mate, it's all that's keeping me sane at the mo.
C • sounds exactly like my ankl... 3
Core (physio) 15:00 [1]
Bedtime exercises. Ankle is a still dodgy so didn't do anything.

Wednesday Jan 23

Running long 1:40:00 [3]15.5 km (6:27 / km) +250m 5:58 / km
slept:4.0 shoes: Kalenji CS2s
Moseyed up to meet Sarah and Loz, decided to do the Shuoc fell race route, and come back through Ranmoor/Hanging Water way instead of just up and back. Had lovely chats and kept the pace going, but not hard work. I just wanted to loosen my damned legs. Felt like lead bricks were rubbing inside my legs. Stupid death pills.
Stretching 10:00 [1]
Core (physio) 45:00 [1]

Tuesday Jan 22

Core (physio) 45:00 [2]
Really really really hurting this morning and progessively stiffened for the rest of the day. It's only been 1 measly week out of 24 and side effects are kicking in nicely. It's going to be really tough to keep going if everytime I exercise I get pain like this the next day, as much as I like stretching I don't want to have to spend the whole day doing it. But if needs must!

Was going to do some pilates but too hurty and didn't have time after the massive faff at Boots and long DR session.

Monday Jan 21

Core (Circuits) 40:00 [3]
(injured) shoes: Decathlon indoors
First circuits in a veeeeery long time. It hurt. Was ok until the second half of the sets, then back began to realise what was going on. It was not ready for so much core stuff all in a row. In too much discomfort (not up to pain yet) to do much physio in the evening and not had time to do much this morning either. Will have to see how it goes tomorrow.
Core (Circuits) warm up/down 20:00 [1]1 km (20:00 / km)
Jogged up to circuits, then the warm up/down there.
Core (physio) 10:00 [1]
V naughty. Oops.
