| Had to get up stupidly early for breakfast for it to just be bread, so went back to room and had some more nibbles and went back to snooze for a while in the awake bits managed to go through most of my physio exercises. Did the rest after my run. | ||

| Jogged up to the start and around at the start. Felt warm but really couldn't get any speed out of legs at all which was a little worrying. | ||

| Pants. Really truly awful navigation by me. I seemed to fluff every single one, only really got it vaguely together near the end and still it just wasn't anywhere near how I've been lately, or even yesterday! I think I went out with the wrong attitude, I knew Em and Julia are faster than me and I knew it was a fast area and I think if I'd just focussed on keeping in complete contact with the map instead of trying to run a bit harder to attack-area then get into the control from there then I would have been much faster. I think I lost somewhere up to 30seconds on each control, which x21 is a lot. Plus there were some extra flaps when I had lost my confidence by early faffing and I had been right all along. Rubbish.
But I still counted and got a shiny shiny medal :) It's just highlighted a few little problem areas so I can fix it for JK. | ||

| Bobbed along beside Emily as she walked back to the accom. Then was going to have a shower before downloading but was feeling really sore so stuck my trainers on and jogged down to download and around outside a bit and then up and down the corridors in my bare feet until hams started to loosen off a bit. It took a while.
Also a very big thank you Mike for driving us down to Woking and then back at silly o-clock with everyone snoozing away. (good tunes on the cds though from when I was awake!) | ||

| Did some exercises whilst everyone else got up and faffed. Then did the rest of the set in bed at the army base while Lesley read her book.
Cold isn't too bad, just feel a little bit blocked up. V V windy though and it's drying my skin out double time. Not Cool. | ||

| Gorgeous warm up area for tinterland tomorrow. Golden sandy bars which were awesome to run on. I wish I lived on a beach. Very very small contours so focussed on recognising what was mapped. Thought it was a really good map, very yellow though so paired with my mop-in-face hair do it was a bit tricksy. Just jogged round, more of a 2 than 3, but those sandy bits were quite sapping and I was just trying to keep a constant pace. Loooovely :D | ||

| Looooooooooong day travelling. Hamstrings and back weren't very happy. Got to YH in somewhere and after kit dealing out went up to bed. Shattered. Did new exercises while everyone faffed around. Can really feel the improvement already :D
Oh and didn't sleep much cos I foooooolishly left packing til after Medics Revue. Idiot. | ||

| Was well out of it last night, was falling asleep on the sofa watching Stardust with the girls then faffed hanging up wet washing and finally passed out about 12ish, just after and only regained consciousness quarter past 8 this morning. It was great to get a full nights sleep and I didn't wake up for the earthquake. Still feel bunged up and nasty so didn't do give it a go.
Physio is hard and it makes me hurt. Sure it must be doing some good though. | ||

| Went down for appointment about my back. Had to do some exercises and got new ones as well. Need to go to back classes apparently. Oh and on the way down got a call from John saying did I still want to Interland this weekend. Not really but yes just for the top, to rub it in dad's face :P So to Germany (is it? I dunno can't really be bobbed reading the emails). this weekend after all. Gutted cos I had this nasty feeling when I saw Tess hobbling back from BNC that that might happen... (yey it's not broken for tess though). | ||
