Orienteering (SL Baal bone junction) 1:07:49 [3] *** 4.2 km (16:09 / km)
spiked:12/14c shoes: Inov8 OROC 280

Distracted at the start and did not check direction so a big mistake here. When I got on the correct route did better. Slow over the terrain to 4 and a brain lapse between 7 and 8 which caused dithering but no major route mistake. Beautiful views and good soup from the juniors afterwards. Managed the technical sections well.

Did this course reasonably well. Misplaced control caused a problem lost time here trying to find it. It was more unfair on the early runners as they moved the control to the right spot half way through the event. Never mind still a nice run in the forest.

Nice swim at sunset. Pretty dark when I got out. 1:59, 1:45, 2:16, 1:47, 2:26, 1:50, 2:09, 1:46, 2:11, 1:48, 1:46, 1:53, 2:23, 1:46, 1:47, 2:01.

With Glen. Good session with lots of poses held for a longer time than usual this was challenging but managed it mostly!
