Trail Running (Warm up) 10:00 [2] 1 km (10:00 / km)
O - competition (GA Nav Cup Red1) 1:18:47 [5] 7.6 km (10:22 / km) +270m 8:48 / km
spiked:11/14c
Navigation clean, one aim off in wrong direction cost 2 min. Limited by lack of running in past month. Felt ok, just slow. 5th in M45.

Red - Splits

Thursday Jan 16

X-C Skiing 1:03:00 [3] 8 km (7:52 / km)
Couple full loops at about 10 min and a bunch of field loops after it got dark. Includes time repairing track where animal postholed it. Not really at a fast pace due to condition of track.
Will be interesting to see how I feel in GA. Haven't run in a month, but have done lots of cross training and xc skiing.

Wednesday Jan 15

X-C Skiing 53:00 [3] 8 km (6:38 / km)
Skiing by moonlight. Found a headlamp with red led's. Actually quite good on snow -- shows better contrast than white.
Temp 10F and falling fast again tonight. Used VR 40 in kick zone; kind of at its lower end, but still ok. 146
State highway crew came by today and removed the 7' piles at the end of my driveway with a front end loader. Good thing -- now there's some room to plow out by the road.

Monday Jan 13

X-C Skiing 1:00:00 [2] 6 km (10:00 / km)
Easy skiing at dusk with George. Track ok, but some windblown areas needed repacking. Still not set up too firmly. Kick not great.

Sunday Jan 12

Cross Training 1:00:00 [2]
Upper body/back -- shoveling snowbanks after plowing driveway wider.
If we get another 20" storm, we're cooked.
X-C Skiing 2:05:00 [3] 14.5 km (8:37 / km)
Reset track after 4 days of flurries and drifting snow. Had to ski each pole track to pack it down. Did manage a couple 2 km loops at 10 min. Track still soft, so could not kick hard or it would crush. Sitting on top of 2' of base, so foundation isn't too firm. 132
