10 AM

X-C Skiing 1:45:00 [3] 15.5 km (6:46 / km) +497m 5:50 / km
ahr:91 max:140

Gondola up top, down Paradise and Connector onto the Alder Pt loop, then back on Moose Alley and 'Round Mtn to Aqueduct and Paradise home.
2 PM

X-C Skiing 1:40:00 [3] 11.2 km (8:56 / km)

Down around Mtn View, Sidewinder, Vance's Cutoff, Heart Beat and World Cup. WC was great until we had to climb out at the end on BOM and Belle Vista and then up across the bridge home.

X-C Skiing 1 [3] +221m

12 PM

X-C Skiing 2:46:46 [3] 20.0 km (8:20 / km) +267m 7:49 / km
ahr:98 max:159

On Bridle Path so Ruthie could test out the new skis and my wax job, then the gondola to the top. In thick clouds at the summit, nordic trails poorly signed (actually not at all) and then found our way to the target Aberdeen. Fun ski down, then laps around Woodland Bell and Carl Wylie. Back on Gold Mtn.
Temp right at freezing, but the Start RF purple kicked well for Ruthie.
6 PM

X-C Skiing 45:41 [3] 7.79 km (5:52 / km) +133m 5:24 / km
ahr:118 max:155

Up Paradise to Aqueduct to the top. Then back down Aqueduct to jct with Paradise. Over to Cross Mtn and back that way. Aqueduct is a nice smooth climb as it no doubt has a water supply line buried under it from the upper reservoir. Good run down just before dusk.

X-C Skiing 1:45:03 [3] 13.0 km (8:05 / km) +254m 7:22 / km
ahr:113 max:155

Lower trails. Quick around TJ's, not great time, just over 10 min. Then a second time with Ruthie and George at a leisurely pace, stopping at the tops of the 3 climbs. Then over to do Vance's, but took a wrong turn and ended up on quit a tour. Met back up at the sewage pond. They sure could use clarity in the trail markings.
Fun until the warm glop wore off the skis. Hot wax tonight.
4 PM

X-C Skiing 55:34 [3] 8.77 km (6:20 / km) +122m 5:55 / km
ahr:113 max:152

Solo up to Powder Gulch lift and back.

Then down into Vernon for new boots and race skis for Ruthie!

X-C Skiing (Silver Star BC) 1:36:28 [3] 13.2 km (7:19 / km) +239m 6:42 / km
ahr:103 max:145

Over to Sovereign Lakes for skiing there.
Colder today so the HF8 I had on was dragging. Got some Vauhti GW Cold at lunch to sponge on.

X-C Skiing 2:21:12 [3] 17.48 km (8:05 / km) +267m 7:30 / km
ahr:101 max:146

Around Sovereign Lakes and back to Silver Star via Gold Mtn. Then down to the Sidewinder area by myself. Checked out the shortcuts.
The colder cream let the skis run a little better, but certainly not excited about this non-fluoro universe we find ourselves in.

9 AM

X-C Skiing 1:46:06 [3] 15.95 km (6:39 / km) +203m 6:15 / km
ahr:101 max:144

Paradise to Around Mtn to Lars T and back via Cross Mtn. Dusting of new snow right below freezing. Nice skiing.
5 PM

X-C Skiing 1:21:53 [3] 10.28 km (7:58 / km) +192m 7:17 / km
ahr:112 max:144

Solo on lower trails. Around Sidewinder and some side trails. Coming down the last drop on TJ’s Corkscrew came around the corner and had 2 moose step out in front of me! They kept going into the woods on the other side, so no collision, but pretty cool.

X-C Skiing (Silver Star BC) 1:28:12 [3] 9.06 km (9:44 / km) +118m 9:08 / km
ahr:104 max:148

Morning lap around Sidewinder before the new snow was groomed. Slow work. Probably would go better if I bothered to do something about wax; maybe before going out after lunch.
4 PM

X-C Skiing 1:45:02 [3] 14.02 km (7:30 / km) +174m 7:03 / km
ahr:107 max:151

Up Paradise and over to the Captik cabin on Comin Round the Mountain. Good conditions and got some good wax on, too.
