Run 1:28:05 [2] 10.0 mi (8:49 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Beast

Longest run ever for me. Funny thing was that when I completed the 10 miles I stopped and walked the last few blocks home. While crossing one street a car paused to let me finish crossing and I thought I would be nice by jogging quickly across the street to politely move out of his way. My legs wouldn't change pace and I just continued to walk instead of run or jog acorss the street. Guess I have to get used to long distances like this.

Another thing: I should have used glide on the soles of my feet as I now have a small annoying blister to deal with.

I have been wanting to do some Hill training but where I live it is really flat. I will have to travel around a bit to find some place that I can run up hills. Of course , some place not to far that I am away too long when I should be home minding the kids. Someone suggested to me using a treadmill set on an elevated setting... but that just doesn't feel right. The whole point of running is to be out doors, right?
