Sprint race in Breisach. Ran this twice before, and wanted revansje this year as last time I had an old sport ident that only took 30 controls, so ended up having to manually punch the last 15 controls and lost the race with a second.
Weather was warm enough to put on shorts. Almost 10 degrees :) Felt slightly stupid at the start, but had Thomas been there, pretty sure he'd rock up to the start with split shorts and T. I was quite comfortable the entire way :)
Plan was having good focus on the race, and have focus on what happens next and running hard. Felt I had good control from the start. Did have a bad section from 6 to 11 that in total could have cost a lot. It had two bad route choices and one mistake in one area where I ended up randomly checking locations. It was in an area that the map wasnt that great, and just a ton of details in the terrain, but very little details on the map. The two bad routes was mainly I didn't take enough time to really see the best route, especially 6 to 7.
Other than that, the rest seemed to go pretty well. Was able to run fast and push quite hard and got a pretty good time. Will rerun this next week, as well as alternating route choices.
