MTBO middle course. Second ever mountain bike - o.
Was almost good, only one nav disaster when map went from orienteering map to OS map and I missed my path junction, lost about 4 mins?
Apart from that it was good except my map board unscrewed itself so I had to stop and reattach it, and I got blisters on both hands (!?!).
Good fun, but MTBO is so much faff with equipment and stuff...

Brown course. Quick mince pie after MTBO then headed out on the brown. Caught Barrable up, had a nice little battle. He was running quicker, but I was smoother. Tried to take different routes to him and he got a bit away at the end.

5.10, 11.33, 2.32, 6.12, 10.46 and 8.39 plus jogging. Working quite hard on a couple of them. Pretty nice new map, similar to Star Posts / Hawley.
