British middle champs. Lost 1.20 at the 10th control - what was going on with the contours there then? Few smaller misses later on in the rhodedendrons, but generally happy apart from that 1.

Ended second, 40 seconds behind Scott.


8 days, 3 British Champs, 3 silvers, combined total of ~1.15 from 3 golds.....

British Sprint Champs Qualification. Nottingham University. Won my heat comfortably.

Sprint Finals. Pretty much perfect except for 1 control. Was winning at the spectator control by 1 second, increased it to 6 seconds with 3 controls to go, but then a combination of a poor route choice, poor execution, and even poorer map (analysis afterwards revealed some skewedness) cost me 22 seconds and the race. Well done to Scott who had a really good performance though and deserved it.
