Long run with Artem and Vojtech on forest roads between 900 and 1500m altitude. Same loop as I ran last January, but considerably faster with Artem pushing me along! Tired after.

Nothing like easing nicely into a training camp....

Afternoon surveying in Fallin. Got hailed on.

Evening jaunt with Vojtech. Through Laighills and up to the Gathering Stone, and back via the Hydro. Passed a couple of Stansfields (younger one under-dressed and lamp-less!)

FVO night-o at Stirling Uni. Good group of guys tonight, and a great challenging course! Was out front with Daniel and Vojtech for most of it, changing lead regularly depending on who found a good line across the steep slippery slopes. All together into the second butterfly where Daniel dropped off a little. Head to head with Vojtech to the last control, then he ran back to the start rather than to the last control! He had his map folded such that the line stopped at the start triangle (rather than going through it), so I took an easier win than it should have been....

60mins with Vojtech from home round Dunblane and down by the Allan, then extra loops round the GC and Laighills.

Finished surveying Bannockburn this morning - the 2 upcoming competitions there this year should be great!
