Sunday Nov 4

Orienteering Race 1:05:05 [2] 5.9 km (11:02 / km) +250m 9:06 / km
27c shoes: Inov 8 Mudclaw 'O' 330
SOL 7 in some grotty south lanarkshire forest. Not as bad as yesterday but pretty minging, including 3 controls without leaving the dark green. Had a pretty good run navigationaly but was sloooowwww. Barely ran at all and felt very very weak. Cherry got 63 and marky marky mark got 61 I think so probably a rare AYROC Sol win.

Saturday Nov 3

Orienteering Race 44:21 [3] 5 km (8:52 / km) +70m 8:17 / km
18c shoes: Inov 8 Mudclaw 'O' 330
Scottish Night Champs at Firpark in South Lanarkshire. Came 2nd (out of 2) and lost by 49s despite losing 3mins in the 1st 2 controls. Horrible area, shocking navigation and not just on the bingo-y bits.

Friday Nov 2

Gym 1:15:00 [3]
shoes: Saucony Grid Omni 5 Moderate
Warm Up- 5mins tredmill 5mins bike 5mins x trainer

2 circuits of the weights, 10 each machine each time.

5mins at 15km/h increasing by 1% incl. every 1min

5mins 10k/h warm down

Didnt do very much as I had a compulsory showing how to do the stuff by the guy there who is a coach at Lasswade AAC. Gym was empty apart from my mum and two other hibs players mums.

Thursday Nov 1

Road Running 30:21 [2] 6.3 km (4:49 / km)
shoes: Saucony Grid Omni 5 Moderate
Route:http://www.sanoodi.com/route/tom-r/105835/old-scho... X3

Had loads of physics homework and all the equations of motion and projectiles were beggining to go over my head, so I decided to go for a light head clearing jog. 3 loops, very easy, 5xlamp post strides on the 2nd lap.

No comments about anything else...

Wednesday Oct 31

Road Running 41:20 [2] 8.2 km (5:02 / km) +75m 4:49 / km
shoes: Saucony Grid Omni 5 Moderate
Route:http://sanoodi.com/route/tom-r/105703/queens-drive...

Was hard on the rocky section up hunters bog in the pitch black and was very windy there aswell, probably my slowest run up HB ever.

Had a wee look at the Sanoodi website after seeing one of Cherry's routes and decided its pretty cool.

C • weekend 2
Note
have noticed that my speed on the road has increased as of late, probably good for the XCs ahead and maybe the odd indoor race if I can be bothered.

Tuesday Oct 30

Road Running 22:09 [3] 5 km (4:26 / km) +30m 4:18 / km
shoes: Saucony Grid Omni 5 Moderate
Same route as yesterday but a bit faster, still not uncomfortable.

Monday Oct 29

Road Running 25:58 [1] 5 km (5:12 / km) +25m 5:04 / km
shoes: Saucony Grid Omni 5 Moderate
Didnt plan to go for a run but felt like it so did anyway. It was properly dark despite only being 5.30, this really is winter training. It was very cold and windy and the ground was wet from the rain this afternoon. Went very easy up to Pollock and back.
