Hill/Road Run 45:00 [3] 7 km (6:26 / km) +200m 5:38 / km
shoes: Puma Trailfox
Felt shit and couldnae be bothered.

Saturday May 31

Cross Country 45:00 [1] 4 km (11:15 / km)
Was gonna have a run at Gullane today but it was a score - I hate score events more than anything in the world - and on a blown up 1:5000 map of the really shit green bit rather than the really nice forest/dunes out the back. Shadow two wee boys round the white and yellow courses in prep for the scottish schools where they have a team entered. Both boys are fast - probably faster than all the regular orienteers their age exept Paddy. They seemed to get a good hang of navigating which is promising. Mainly time was showing them the ropes but we ran all of the legs after a bit of planning what to do, so I got a wee runabout.

Friday May 30

Cross Country 30:00 [3] 5.5 km (5:27 / km) +100m 5:00 / km
shoes: VJ Integrator
Had a wee Tech sesh planned at Corstorphine Hill but the nettles are just way too high so I just did a short track run.
Core Stabilty 15:00 [1]

Thursday May 29

Road Running 20:00 [2] 4 km (5:00 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-2130
Warm up round Leith Links
Cross Country 8:00 [5] 1 km (8:00 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-2130
Felt like a change of scenery so went down to Leith Links to train then watch my brother playing against Tynecastle. 8-1 to his team, and Tyncastle are one of the better teams in Edinburgh. Saw a bunch of guys from my year training who's Leith team won the Scottish Cup a few weeks ago.

Quick set of 8x180m on the grass. Run in 32 w/ 28s rec. Not pushing fully, just maintaining speed and focusing on running strongly. A bit slow on newly cut grass with road sneaks.

Also did some stretching before/after, but if I don't time walking the dog, then stretching don't deserve being logged either.
