Pilates and Conditioning.
I was too tired from the weekend to run at lunch and had no motivation to join the boys for a run after.
Ran a decent session though and had a record turnout - 20 people not including kids!
I'm not sure I'll ever be fresh on a Monday after o racing on a Sunday!
SOL 1, Dalrulzion.
I was looking forward to this before Janine came back ranting about the map. Promptly went awol at two just like most and then made a stupid mistake about a third of the way round where I was wandering too low for a control. Lost a bit of motivation after that and it showed in my splits. despite doing some training I wasn;t ready for this tough forest, hat off to Fraser and Claire Ward for their solid runs.
Scottish Sprint Champs, North Muirton, Perth.
Having a relaxing morning until Jon told me I was late for my start! So no warm up, straight to -1 and then off.
Thankfully I had overheard that there were dubious controls and descriptions so I was racing hard but warily.
Didn't get caught out too much apart from trying to avoid crossing a north line which I thought was a thick black wall and going into one control from the wrong side.
Managed to hang in there to secure a win, despite Jon leading till half way.
Jon X only 8 seconds behind!
Feeling a bit flat and tired today and David was in a spritely mood.
Sun came out and it was warm so pleasant enough but the run felt a bit of a chore.... I'm getting bored of training already!
Feeling a bit tired but ready to work. An extended warm up by Jon took us into Riverside and then on we went to do 6 hills!
Reps were: ???, 2:54, 2:52, 2:54, 2:52, 2:48.
Working hard to keep up the time but highly motivated by everyone else's effort.
