Terrain Run 1:14:00 [3]

WOC long today. No entry and all Brits running late so just jogged to start and ran in the terrain following orienteers. Target was to find 20 controls. Found 24. Then stood in the pissing rain to watch athletes get lost on poor quality maps. WTF !!! Swedes are sometimes so stupid.

Orienteering 30:00 [3] 3.5 km (8:34 / km)

Borrowed Tom Lines' H18E map. Snuck into the forest, found the start kite and went for it. My cup tea this stuff....if only I was fitter. No mistakes. Loving every minute. Time is rough guess.

Note

A whole afternoon of Team GB supporting at the middle.unlike the junior tour that pissed off after the lad's race (for a swim). Disappointing performances from the Brits but still a great occasion esp watching Kyburz finish and Emily Kemps 4th.
