Orienteering race 45:43 [4] 6.86 km (6:40 / km)

Scottish Disabled Relay Championships at Roseisle.
Meant to be 2nd leg but arrived to hear Rog not 100% and so I was promoted to the long 1st leg. Turns out it was my cup of tea - technical, physical, hold-your-own style of orienteering. One stupid mistake where I fought into the rough open to a depression knowing I was a bit short and had to climb back out (1 min) other than that I was just working steady and trying to not loose too much time in the circle. Fun! Turns out we won the class (Me, Rog, Fraser) - And were able to claim some benefit - Tablet :-)

Chuffed to see Matthew in the winning Junior Relay team and how he coped with his first mass start first leg role.

Orienteering race 1:05:30 [4] 7.5 km (8:44 / km)

Scottish Champs at Achagour. M45. Tough area, hot sunny day. Started steady and took it safe in the vague forest, then in the open I didn't see the safest route and binned 4 minutes by overshooting to the next reentrant. Back on track after, jammied a decent long leg route then blew a further two mins 2 from the end- it was higher and further than shown. Running strongly but didn't deserve the win over Fraser (1min behind) as 3 50s got me. I need a clean run.

9 holes at Craggan after a day of DIY with Lindsey. & Geoffrey. Sun splitting the skies, great vews of Cairngorm. Ahhhh.

Sunny afternoon developing so planned to work from Aberfoyle then ride the Loch Katrine loop from work. Blumming bumpy climb up to Invertrossachs, cafe then a more pleasant if not more undulating surface round Katrine. Legs starting to tire on Dukes. Co-op in Ab for some milk then back. Lovely!

Kia Estate with Dixie. Lovely. But left foot still sore from weekend. No running for a few days.
