Had towalk the kids up to the start and then shadow Hannah round the white so not really in the modd to go back up the hill again and give it a go myself. However, J9 and Ben S had said how nice it was and also how short it was so I thought I'd better have a go. A bit whimpy at the start but loved the tricky bit then in good speed across the hill and loved spiking the rocky stuff (quite easily placed controls TBH), and pushed hard for home - chasing down Jon X & Ben H.
Pleased to take a win after yesterday's downer.

Mountain bike ride in Anagach with Hannah and Granddad - to Cromdale and then back. Gutted the pub wasn't open!

Scottish Night Champs Muir of Dinnet.
Took a bearing off a powerline leaving three, rather than a north line and couldn't work out why I'd gone wrong. Lost faith in my compass after that so when I couldn't find the crag on the slope (found a massive boulder but not on the map) I gave up. Wasn't feeling particualrly well and no longer in right frame of mind.
