Sunday Mar 10 #

8 AM

Run 1:30:00 [1]

Putting out and collecting in controls for the Laigh Hills CAT.
Then the event set up with shiny new marquee (heavy, but worth it).
Shivering with cold for about 4 hours! :-)

Friday Mar 8 #

Note

Still have hip/glute pain. It is easing but not very quickly. Might need to pay to see someone.

Thursday Mar 7 #

3 PM

Run 25:00 [1]

Newton PS Running Club.
Painful to shuffle, never mind jog. Thankfully the plan was to two timed loops up beyond Mentieth View, so not too far to hobble.
2 x the loop - 7:00 being aboutthe fastest. Really muddy! Which most didn't mind, but some were just total whimps!
then a quick playpark relay to finish - nice and soggy!
Hobble, hobble for me. :-(

Orienteering race 50:00 [3]

FVI Night Event Barr Wood - planned by Roger.
Struggled to get going, problems readjusting headlamp straps, then I was just crap. Then I banged my head. then I fell about alot and wandered aimlessly. I came across other wandering, aimlessly people and I wandered aimlessly away from them. Only to wander aimlessly back towards them later. And so on it went.
Until I decided I'd had enough and needed to get home to relieve J9 so she could travel north.
Later on - experienced really bad hip/glute pain - to the extent where I had to take painkillers to sleep.

Tuesday Mar 5 #

Run 33:00 [3] 5.9 km (5:36 / km)

With Mike to the Tay and back. Enjoying having him being the weaker link today :-)

Monday Mar 4 #

12 PM

Run 21:00 [3]

Sunny, so I dragged myself out. Felt good apart from niggly left achilles.
Could've done more, being sensible.
