Sunday Apr 14 #

1 PM

Orienteering race 59:50 [3] 6.9 km (8:40 / km) +380m 6:48 / km

SOL at Falkland. Short Brown planned by Godders.
Despite getting to event early I was a bit rushed to the start - arrived on my call-up time :-) Decided to go off hard and see what transpired. Manned up at leg 2 and avoided the faster track route. Other than that my one mistake was at the end of the long leg when I nodded off for a monent and ran to the nearer, lower green blob. Spking the last control got me the win over Grace :-) :-P
Knackered.
Not as knackered as Granddad who had to shadow Hannah round the white after his run ;-)

Saturday Apr 13 #

4 PM

Mountain Bike 1:00:00 [2]

Out with Matthew up to the Gathering Stone.
He didn't enjoy this at all. Big tantrum in the middle :-)

Friday Apr 12 #

Road Bike 45:00 [3]

Spin Class - couldn't face the dunes again so sweaty spin class instead :-)

Thursday Apr 11 #

8 AM

Orienteering 55:30 [3] 6.7 km (8:17 / km)

More control picking in Guardamar. Went awol twice. Not the same without your buddy for backup.

Wednesday Apr 10 #

11 AM

Orienteering 36:38 [3] 5.2 km (7:03 / km)

Getting the remaining 28/100 controls on Guardamar north. Tired and head not in it to start but improving as I warmed up. Left calf nerve damage isn't improving. It may hamper the next few days.

Tuesday Apr 9 #

8 AM

Orienteering 1:42:00 [3] 12.26 km (8:19 / km)

100 controls course with Rog. We were never Gina manage the full 15k but survived, despite both having bad patches to do the 72 South of the boardwalk. Knackered.

Monday Apr 8 #

8 AM

Orienteering 42:00 [3]

With Rog on an old contour only map. I was feeling rough and went completely a sol at 5 and totally lost Rog. He waited then carried on. Respect. Rest up needed.
