Thursday Jan 31

mtb 1:51:40 [3]
Same ride as last week. Felt really dead after yesterday but at least the quaddies held up better this week. Glad i did it.
Note
Had a 2hr hit of tennis with Damon before the ride. Felt like it might have loosened the legs up a bit, but still had nothing on the bike.

Wednesday Jan 30

Run race (Street-O) 46:40 [4] 6.92 km (6:45 / km)
ahr:180 max:192 shoes: Nike Air Pegasus
Started early so i could help Dad, who set the event. The combination of the heat, hills and lack of fitness nearly killed me! Started off okay but after 20mins was definitly feeling it and the last 15mins was simply a matter of trying to reach the finish (and the water!) before dying. Needless to say, finished a fair way down and my route choice may not have been the best.

Strength & Conditioning 20:00 [3]

Monday Jan 28

Run 30:00 [3]
Approx 30min run with Jes. Very stop/start and slow

Saturday Jan 26

mtb 1:00:49 [3] 22.01 km (2:46 / km)
ahr:153 max:191
Ride with Kim from Wangi to Fennels Bay via Rathmines and Awaba. Fairly leisurely with a couple of hills. Didn't feel the quads on the bike but still hurtin before and after the ride.

Friday Jan 25

Run 25:03 [3] 4.46 km (5:37 / km)
ahr:164 max:192 shoes: Nike Air Pegasus
Back into the running. Just ran with dad for part of his run. Started in the bush, planning to do bike loop, but it was too wet so bailed to the streets for the second half. Quads still sore today.

Thursday Jan 24

mtb 1:59:38 [4]
Back into the training, after lots of inconsistent stuff and injuries. Ride through the bush with Dad to John Renshaw Dr and back with a couple of loops added to make up time. Quads were hurting bout an hr in and screaming at the finish.
