Monday Nov 29

running (mixed off/on trail) 45:24 [3]
ahr:151 max:170
Running in bern, went from feeling, and since I felt good and natural I just went a little longer than maybe I should have. I have new shoes too, and they felt good!

Sunday Nov 28

aquajogging 55:00 [3]
ahr:121 max:159
Finally doing something again. The game plan now is to do "regenerative" exercise for the next week before I start to build. Wish me luck!
core strength workout 15:00 [3]
Trying to get back into shape!

Monday Nov 22

Note
Last week on Wednesday I developed a deep cough which I can't get rid of. I had a fever etc on Thursday, and it was very obvious that I couldn't train. Now I am feeling better (don't sound better, still coughing) but have decided to take another extensive break from training. Since September (when I had Mono) I have not be able to be 100% healthy and every time I train a few days in a row, I get another cold. Basically I have had a cold now for a month... It is becoming very frustrating playing this back and forth game with my health, and so I think its time to give my body a break. I have not decided how long, but at least until this stupid cough is gone.

Wednesday Nov 17

yoga 1:00:00 [2]
ahr:104 max:156
I now it sounds lame, but it was hard, really! man am I weak!

Tuesday Nov 16

running (mixed off/on trail) 31:45 [3]
ahr:139 max:174
A little jog at night after work. I am babying my achielles tendon, hoping it will stop hurting. Hurts mostly uphill, which is a problem in Switzerland:-) No serious yet! (Got a massage over lunch, hoping that it will help me recover, you know what they say, recovery is just as important as ones training:-))

Monday Nov 15

Note
Day off... achielles tendon bothering me.

Sunday Nov 14

running (mixed off/on trail) 1:37:21 [4]
ahr:154 max:189
Long jog with Marc, it was really nice to do a run together. We went a little outside of Bern to run up a few hills. It was nice, but I have arch pain now, and I could go to bed (it's 7pm...) wiped out!

Saturday Nov 13

running (mixed off/on trail) 57:33 [3]
ahr:148 max:171
Running in Bern. I felt good at the end

Friday Nov 12

running (mixed off/on trail) 1:08:24 [3]
ahr:158 max:178 slept:10.0
Running at lunch. Felt strange the whole time, no rythm, didnt have a forward flow, more vertical. Not much muscle strength to push off for a smoother stride. Felt slow...

Thursday Nov 11

running (mixed off/on trail) 55:59 [3]
ahr:153 max:176
17:32 dark, snow on the ground, 2° C! I felt like I was running in a tunnel since I had this spot-light ahead of me the whole time. Everywhere I went, there it was, beamimg the way for me.

Wednesday Nov 10

running (mixed off/on trail) 52:45 [3]
ahr:155 max:176
Finally running again, after fighting a cold for almost 2 weeks. How frustrating. Lets see if I can start to build up again...

Saturday Nov 6

core strength workout 45:00 [2]
(sick)
My typical strength workout at home with Marc. We are both sick and went for a walk before as "warm-up"... and then pushed through some exercise that are no fun when you can't breath through your nose, and your head is pounding! Now that's dedication;-)

Thursday Nov 4

Note
I have had a head cold for the last 10 days about, never very bad, but now its in full swing. Must take a few days off. Frustrating!

Tuesday Nov 2

indoor bike (hometrainer) 20:22 [2]
