Marc got home from work and a quick mt bike ride on his new bike and "kicked" me out the door. I wanted to do some core, so I did that first and than a short run afterwards.

Only found out at Lunch that the kids ANCO training was not an orienteering course today, which means I didn't have controls in the forest to make a course and I had to come up with my own training in very little time. This is not an easy task when you have two kids needing 100% of your attention and unfortunately they do not always sleep at the same time, so there are some days where I don't get a moment of a break between the two of them. Today was almost one of those days, because Lena woke up when Matti fell asleep and I really started to doubt that I would manage to organise a training in time. But luckily, Lena got tired pretty quickly again and slept for an hour while Matti was asleep. That was enough time for me to make a line-O on OCAD and chose 12 controls that I would go set on the line. Turned out to be a good idea for the first night-O of the season, getting used to reading the details and the scale while in the dark.
My mom came to help me with the kids, so I left with the bike, since Marc wasn't home yet with the car. Went up to set as many controls as possible before the training starts.

Orienteering (setting controls) 25:40 [2] 2.63 km (9:46 / km) +95m 8:16 / km

I was able to set 6 controls in 25 min and Marc set the rest of them during the warm up. The training was a success, but it was a stressful day. Next year it should be easier for me to arrange good training because I will have less other responsibilities in the club.
