Yeah, orienteering! I am finally starting to feel a bit better even though I am still massively sleep deprived. The kids and I have been had a cold and the sh**t really hits the fan when the kids are sick. Lena cannot sleep well when her nose is running and even Matti didn't sleep through the night these last few nights. Marc was gone over the weekend, which ended up being really stressful, since I felt crappy and the kids were cranky. At one point during the night they were both screaming their heads off and I really wished I had another set of hands. The night from Friday to Saturday I had Lena in my bed from 22h-4:30am and then Matti from 4:30 to 7am. Not much quality sleep for me:-/

But there is always a light at the end of the tunnel and I am certain that easier times are ahead. Lena just needs to learn to start walking, so that she doesn't feel so frustrated all day long. I also think she is going through "separation anxiety" something kids have in their years 1-3 and that is why she cannot fall back asleep during the night. Anyone have experience with what to do when she cries because she want me to hold her hand to fall asleep. I just cannot spend 30 min by her bedside every night. I am so tired!

Tonights training really made me feel more normal again. I started the sprint intervals alone because I made groups for the athletes and I didn't fit anywhere. I however caught up with the girls group because one of the girls had a bit longer on one interval and it made it possible for me to catch up. Once I was with them, I did the intervals with them as well. It was really fun to try to run against someone else. Pushing me to be concentrated and run hard. I really had fun and orienteered well. A breath of fresh air!

Note

Sore throat much worse. I wanted to run the Tour de Canton race this evening, but I think I will have to leave it out. Not worth getting really sick. Although, I will probably get sick anyway... hum.
