We are in Premana Italy for the Mountain race Giir di Mont, a very steep Italian town surrounded by mountains. I spend at least an hour with Lena in the backpack and Matti in the stroller pushing him uphill to try to get to a trail where we could cheer Marc on during his race. But it was on and off raining and it was physically very hard to try to "transport" both of the kids. Matti could have walked on his own, but a 3 year does not move very fast so we wouldn't have made it that way either. It was unrealistic to think I could go 2km out of town with the two of them by foot. At least this way we got to see more of Premana.

Nice to see Marc win another race. He is just incredible. I really don't know how he does it!!

Feeling better today... wanted to find a trail up a bit on the ridge but gave up too early, thinking I didn't take the right trail to begin with. The thunderstorm that was rolling in scared me enough to give up just a bit pre-mature. I see on the map that I was really close to the junction I was looking for. Oops. I found some nice trails lower down anyway and was happy not to get caught in a thunderstorm. Hope my legs recover a bit more, I would like to do a long-run tomorrow.

Running around Silvaplana. Kind of wanted to do something longer, but was worried about thunderstorms, so I stayed in the forest. Felt pretty tired too, so it was good that I didn't undertake a big tour. After 50 minutes I really started to bonk. Body feels totally wrecked.
