Running the Team Swiss champs with two women I didn't know in the DAK category. They had never done a Team race before and were a bit slower than me in general, so I should have done more orienteering then them, but I was in change of slipping up the course, since they had never done that. I ended up waiting at number 4 for a long time and got pretty cold. Should have done a swap earlier in the race. Then I ran three controls a bit faster than the women who was supposed to take over could get to the meeting spot, so I continued. It was fun all in all, but the downpour rain and 7°C were not so pleasant. My ankle held up very well. I never thought about it.

A run with Natacha. This was tough because we said we'd go at 14:00 but then we realized the show I wanted to go to with Matti starts at 15:00, so I moved the run up at 13:30, but I just ate lunch and Natacha runs fast, so I suffered most of the way.

A quick run after going with Matti to his gymnastic class and before going to my dance class:-)

I did it! I went to my first dance class in 25 years!! It was really great and I enjoyed it so much! I really want to continue! I couldn't stop smiling afterwards. This is a class in contemporary dance, which I have never done before and it was a challenge and will certainly give me sore muscles. Particularly it's tough on your feet and your hips because you roll on the ground a bunch.

Yesterday I was in a bit of a funk, but I went outside and raked some leaves and the fresh air and sun helped me feel like a normal person again. TODAY I got to go orienteering and I felt like super-women afterwards. Gotta love orienteering!!
I set 17 controls at Serroue for the Jeunes Espoirs training this afternoon.

I took Lena to pilates with me because this is the only way I can go. She watched a movie on my computer in the corner. It worked perfectly, she was happy to get to watch for so long, she was really well behaved and seemed happy afterwards, but I do have some motherly guilt to "not be playing on the playground or doing some crafts" with her during this time. Am I am bad mom? The older than me with teenager at home moms said that I am not... glad not to be judged. Not sure what Marc thought;-)

Matti takes part in a forest pre-school group on Monday afternoon with a school friend. His mom brings them since I Lena takes a nap after lunch and I go pick them up with Lena at 16:30. Lena was awake at 15:00 so I rushed out of the house with her, packed the jogger and drove there. She likes going on a run with me, but she complained when it was bumpy. When I told that to Marc, he said, "I will have to take her with me more often"... I think this could be a routine if the weather is nice. Otherwise I feel a bit bad if she sits in the car for 15min there just to pick up the boys and drive back. Too bad that this group does not meet closer to our home.

I felt like a professional athlete today, training twice;-)
