I managed to erase the whole file while arriving at home. This has happened to me before when it’s wet out and the touch screen goes wild with the humidity on it. Oh well, just because I don’t have a gps track doesn’t mean I didn’t do it ;-)>

Skiathlon: changes directly into my running shoes and ran around the lake. Felt good to run.

My throat started to hurt again yesterday after spending most of the day out in the cold. So today I wore this:

Seems like a very good solution for -10C or colder. Breathing in warm air really warms your whole body and I didn't have cold hands today. There were several other people out there, mostly Swiss team xc skiers, with these masks on, so I wasn't the only one, but probably the slowest. Marc bought it for himself because he gets a cough when training in extreme cold and you can switch out the filter for another person and wash them after several uses.

-13C but an amazing beautiful day, so what the hell, let's give it a try, I mean I had all the tests done and there is nothing wrong with me. Now today's big challenge was to stay warm and my nose hairs froze right away and I had to keep moving to stay warm. It was actually kind a great, no slacking off, keep working to stay warm and have good form so that not to loose too much energy. I felt great and loved it. Went all the way up the Dischma for the first time.

Note

Had a terrible sore throat last night, just like Wednesday night last week and decided to get a test for strep-throat since this cold seems not to want to go away. Not the most useful use of my time, since I was at the hospital for 3 hours just to find out that there is nothing medically wrong with me. It frustrated me that there is not a more efficient way to get this type of medical help in Switzerland. I am not sick, just wanted a simple test done, but I had to jump through all the medical loops and see all the doctors, etc.
Would have love to ski today, but there were too many factors involved including me sleeping from 8am to 10am since I slept really badly (Lena woke me up every few hours all night). So I guess you can't have it all.
