Heavy legs after two evenings of lots of food and drinks, plus little sleep. But it was nice to be out and I saw Jessica Diggins! I was like a 4 year old in Disney Land and got all excited and waved and said hi... poor girl, probably gets that a lot. I felt pretty silly aftewards.

Happy Birthday Ski with my mom :-) We've arrived in Davos for a week of ski school for the kids and vacation for Nonna, Nonno and I while Marc is at his dental conference (poor guys;-)).

This is just want I need. It feels so good to move and not think. To have your brain turn off and just be, is an amazing feeling. It was a good class and just fit to what I needed. Now I will try to keep that tranquility eventhough I have to pack; the good news is ... we are going on vacation :-)) These last two weeks were tough.

Orienteering for myself from 1 to 5, then popped over to number 11 to film the boys. Had a go-pro this time, so ran with them a bit. After 11, went to 13, which they would be returning to as their number 18 and filmed them again. Then a few more controls and to the finish. Nice to go both, run for myself and film them in one session.

Orienteering (setting controls) 1:42:45 intensity: (1:18:47 @1) + (6:26 @2) + (12:04 @3) + (5:28 @4) 8.43 km (12:12 / km) +315m 10:16 / km
ahr:136 max:192

I ran to the forest where we had our night-O training, so about 35 min of this is pure running. Afterwards it was a slow slog in deep snow setting 23 controls with out seeing many features on the map, because everything is covered in snow. It was tough to set the controls and I had to double check each location with at least 2 other corresponding features to be sure. You just couldn't make out the small features on the map, so sometimes I really wasn't sure if I was 100% correct. After the training though Marc assured me that the controls were all correct. Yupiee!
