Now this is what I like. Wow, what a day, what beautiful tracks and amazing snow. This was pure pleasure! Also the first time in a week that I have energy and feel good exercising. Yeah!

Ski-O, oh man was this hard (and I gave up eventually). Lots of small scooter tracks and really hard snow conditions. I wasn't having much fun, worried about breaking my skis or my leg and needed to get back so Marc could catch his start. I prefer skiing on normal tracks. But the weather was amazing and everyone had a lot of fun (kids and Marc, etc.), so it was a very nice day. Tomorrow I will skip out on the ski-o and do some normal (as Lucia would say, sans-adrenaline) skiing :-)>

I had to stop running and start walking about after 10 min, my knee is still bothering me and I have NO energy... so I just walked, which was also nice and a wise decision.

Oh lala, haven't found any energy yet. Kind of frustrating, but at least this run was pretty good. Afterwards though my back cramped up and I was super tired all evening.

Really really dead legs while setting these controls, so lots of this was walking. I think 10 days of bad nutrition, lots of training and then a deep massage yesterday really made for some weird sensations while trying to run. I hope I will recover this week and then get two good weeks of training in before my first trail race of the year on March 17th. Marc is running the Marathon du Trail de Mont Ventoux like every year and I will run the same 1/2 marathon there as I did last year. I am overly worried about not being faster than last year. After you've had pregnancies and babies to take care of, you usually get stronger and stronger every year for a while, but now I have reached a point where it's possible not to get stronger anymore and that I would actually have to train better and weigh less (or at least not more) than last year to do better. Challenges in life change, but I like challenges, so I am going to try for some trail races this year and see how it goes.
