Note

Got home on Saturday after a very painful night. I guess feet and cutting off bone is a painful process. The drive home was long and in the evening I went to bed at 7:30pm and slept until 8am. At 10am I went back to sleep and slept until 1:30pm. After that big dose of recovery the pain has been getting better day for day. Today, I can walk a few meters without the crutches to go get something from the kitchen, but afterwards things start to throb. I lay with my feet propped up for 99.9% of the time. I guess by the end of this week, I should be able to start walking without pain (always with these funny stiff shoes on that inhibit my toe joint to bend).
One day at a time is my motto for now.

It's done! Both feet have been successfully operated on, my bone spurs are out and now I just need to recover. The pain is starting to kick it. This will certainly be an adventure!
