Got home from our first week in our California Beach yesterday and it was a wonderful, despite cold, vacation. I was totally gone away from reality during this trip!
Today I got to go running with Rebecca and Fabienne which is always nice and fun to see my friends again. School starts again tomorrow :-)>

Running in Arcengo, at first I ran to the start of a orienteering course I found online and then I did the first 5 controls reading the map on my phone :-)> afterwards I explored the trails. Met the kids and Marc afterwards for a pic-nic, but man it is not that warm here in Tessin and we all had to bundle up to enjoy our lunch.

hiking 45:00 [1]

Hiking with the kids to climb Mt. San Giorgio. They hike well, but you have to keep Lena in a good mood, otherwise she slows down a lot. Marc ran from the camping, up the mountain twice and then to us. We had just stopped for a snack when he came. Afterwards, I went to run up the mountain, down and around to get the car. The kids hiked all the way up and then down to the town of Meride. They did a great job!

running 1:29:54 [1] 8.32 km (10:48 / km) +361m 8:53 / km

This was the running part. The first 5 minutes with Matti who decided he wanted to run up with me. After 5 minutes I ask if he really wanted to continue and he said he would wait for papa and walk the rest ;-) He runs faster than me but not as long. It won't take much more time before he is running faster and as long as I can. He is growing up so fast.

I enjoyed the run up, but my legs were dead on the 2nd half because I had massive period cramps. I walked several time on the way back up to the car.

Running upon arrival at our camping. Found lots and lots of wild garlic in the forest. We harvested a huge bag full and had some with our dinner tonight. Once at home I made a bunch of wild garlic pesto. So yummy!!!
