still long slow distance. running to the carkeek park, then down to the water and back to the entrance to the park. i was getting some bad blisters and i had already run a lot more this week then all the previous weeks, so i took the bus back to school.

From school, we ran to Northgate, then looped around the community college, and up around Haller Lake.

this was the first soccer practice of the season, so it wasn't very intense.

For practice today, we ran the cross-country course at Lower Woodland and then ran about 2/3 of it again. The distance and time are approximate.

I ran to Hamlin Park and did two 1+ mile loops and then ran back. I didn't stop my stopwatch at the stoplights.

I did nifty-nines, which are basically lots of different kinds of sit-ups/abs exercises. I did push-ups too (though I know they aren't for ab strength).

Monday Aug 20

I'm using Holly's time since I forgot to start my stopwatch. This was the first day of cross country and we ran 7 miles. We also did a bunch of planks.
