Friday Nov 23

Note
(rest day)
I'm taking a couple days off to rest my legs before the half marathon. I'm also getting lots of sleep, which is good.

Running 46:01 [3] 6.0 mi (7:40 / mi)
shoes: Asics
I ran to Discovery Park, around the loop trail there, and back home. I hadn't gone on this run since before cross country started, so I enjoyed it. It was half soft surface and there weren't any lights. The run felt good. It was also a sunny, clear day, so there were lots of people out in the park.

Wednesday Nov 21

Running 41:21 [3] 5.0 mi (8:15 / mi)
shoes: Asics
Holly and I ran to NSCC and back. I was tired (I'm so glad it's break!) but it was a nice run.

Tuesday Nov 20

rock climbing 1:45:00 [3]
I went climbing with the school climbing club. I hadn't gone climbing for a while, so I mostly did 5.8s (and one 5.9) and those were even hard since my arms got tired so easily. It was really fun though, and I'm hoping to go a lot more frequently this coming year.

Running 46:27 [3] 5.0 mi (9:16 / mi)
shoes: Asics
We ran to North Seattle Community College and back. We were orignially going to run 10 miles today (I wanted to get in another longer run before the half marathon), but Holly and I were kind of sore from all our soccer games over the weekend and partway through the run it started hailing really hard (which was cold and slightly painful), so we cut the run short. My legs were kind of sore all day, but they felt a lot better after the run.

Sunday Nov 18

soccer 1:30:00 [3]
shoes: cleats
The first of two soccer games today. My team signed up for a tournament with other rec teams from the area (not in the city of Seattle though), so we had a game today. Since we found out about the game less than a week ago and we already had a game planned for today, we only had 9 players. We still only lost 2-1, and we had lots of opportunities to score the second half. It was really fun since this is probably the best team we've faced all season (at least before they got tired) and we were doing really well even with 2 less players on the field.

This was the last season game for my rec team. We tied 3-3. I had a headache the first half, and I was just kind of tired the second half. It was a much easier game than earlier today, but being tired didn't help. We did have two subs.
