Warm up around grasmere. Legs felt a bit tight in places so probably a good thing I did a warm up. Then around the field afterwards

Grasmere guides fell race. Who would have thought such a short race could be so hard. Actually quite enjoyed going up the hill and was overtaking people which is unusual for me. But the descent was a little bit too steep and slippy. Didn't trust my feet so lost a lot of time going down. Really enjoyed it though

Three shires route. Not much of a recce as I was on my own and the mist was down for a lot of it so was a map and compass job trying to go roughly the right way. Think I found lots of the lines you shouldn't take especially coming down to the three shires stone I was miles too far right. Tired and hungry going up lingmoor and shoes started to rub but glad I did it all.
