Cake to Cale Day 4. Awesome trails again today returning to Compartment 10 and the Pines. I was on a good day but lost 5 mins to a mechanical when a stick jammed into my jockey wheel and I couldn’t get it out. Thankfully a kind man stopped and helped... I finished 11th for the stage but still held onto 7th overall completing a very satisfying race for me where I mixed it up with some pretty elite riders.

Cape to Cape Stage 3 through Middle Earth. Not a good day for me. I hadn’t recovered well from previous days and the single track was rough and I struggled to keep pace on it. I still finished 7th but dropped time so now a distant 7th.

Cape to Cape Stage 2. Bumped up to the 8.15 (2nd start) which was heaps better. Really good day for me finishing 5th female (all my competitors are in the 8am elite start!). 7th on GC still less than a minute from 5th.

Top 15 women were required to do a Fat Tyre Crit for cash and bonus time for the top 5 in the afternoon. I wasn’t keen but had a blast! Finished 5th happy to be mixing it with some pretty classy riders.

Cape to Cape Stage 1. Good stage for me with some really nice trails through Compartment 10 and the Pines. The last few jams with a few punches hurt. Had to do a fair bit of passing due to being in the 8.30am start.

First time riding at the You Yangs, and it's very impressive out there. Did the Yowie MTB race and won after my main competition crashed out whilst two riders behind me after about 10kms. There were some very technical sections, but all rideable (although I was slow through these sections. It was two laps and I negatuve split so very happy.
