Note

Had entered the Albury 3hr MTB Enduro. Slept in instead, knee still sore to bend.

Other race (Albury Multisport Race) 2:23:00 [4]

2km downstream swim on the Murray River, 8km MTB, 8km rollerblade, 8km kayak, 4.5km run.

Freestyle / backstroked the swim, smashed the last 6km of the ride (after recovering from the swim), crashed on the rollerblade (spent 5 minutes on the ground in a huge amount of pain), smashed the kayak, struggled in the run after the rollerblade crash. Finished 6th, 13 minutes behind 1st.

Bruised left knee quite badly. Was limping until this morning, got my fair share of sympathy though so was worth it. Will spend a couple of days off it as it's still swollen.

Short nap after work followed by a short evening lap of Patterson River.

Slept in too long so didn't have time to do my planned paddle. Instead ran a lap of Patterson River then back to the gate. Felt okay after Saturday.
