Ride 2:00:00 [2]
slept:10.0 shoes: Crusty Merida

Assigned 'portage assistant' for Dave and Bennett's K2 race today. VERY important job for most crews who were picking up drinks / gu's on most portages. Unfortunately my skills weren't tested with Dave and Bennett standing me up all 5 times not taking a drink all race. Spent the rest of the race riding to and from different vantage points and portages, took a few good photos. Quite exhausted by the end of the race! They did well taking home the win despite me writing them off several times!!!

Run 15:00 [4]
slept:5.0

Up at 4.30am this morning to catch a flight to Sydney to be support crew for Dave at kayak nationals at Penrith. Watched the K1 men's race today. Ran the first few kms with them (barefoot) until hitting a patch of bindies. Fastest I've ever run I think.

Ride 1:06:00 [3] 26.0 km (2:32 / km)
slept:6.5 shoes: Giant XTC Team

Bike tracks to Dandenong and back. Very windy. It's a real treat to ride my good bike every now and then!

Run 40:00 [3] 7.2 km (5:33 / km)
shoes: Nike Zoom Elite

Comfortable run on the Kananook Creek Trail to Seaford and back.

Run 41:00 [3] 7.2 km (5:42 / km)
slept:10.0 shoes: Asics Kayano 13

Easy mid morning run to Seaford and back. Unintentionally negative split by 1 minute. Trying to learn to run easy again. Will take a while to get back.

Ride 1:06:00 [3] 26.0 km (2:32 / km)
slept:8.0 shoes: Crusty Merida

Afternoon cruisy ride to Dandenong and back on the bike tracks. Decent head wind on the way back, but it did mean the cool change had finally arrived.

Run 39:00 [3] 7.2 km (5:25 / km)
shoes: Asics Kayano 13

Almost straight out for a run after my ride on the Kananook Creek Trail to Seaford and back. Felt surprisingly good considering my lack of running lately.
